Welcome back to our weekly series where we present the most interesting watches from our latest delivery. The watches are available in our brick-and-mortar showroom in Warsaw and on our website. One of the most distinctive chronographs in our collection from one of the most original contemporary manufacturers – Parmigiani Fleurier. The rectangular case is the foundation of the Kalpa line, currently unavailable in the brand’s catalog. This watch is a non-standard Kalpa version: firstly, in a large case, simply called XL. And indeed, it is a large timepiece – measuring 38.5 mm in diameter and 52 mm. We’re talking about a watch that will definitely attract attention. However, its size doesn’t mean it will sit poorly on the wrist – thanks to curved lugs and ergonomic design, the Kalpagraph, despite its substantial dimensions, sits naturally well on the wrist. The dial features several interesting stylistic elements that enhance its readability. The chronograph subdials are highlighted with guilloche silver background, making them easily distinguishable from the small seconds subdial at 3 o’clock. An interesting feature is the panoramic date display centered under 12 o’clock – even days are marked with dots, and odd days with Arabic numerals. Through the transparent caseback, we can admire the richly decorated, in-house caliber PF334.
The watch comes on an original Parmigiani Fleurier strap with an original gold buckle, complete with documentation and box. Importantly, the watch underwent service at the official PF center this year and is under manufacturer warranty until 2027.
The Panthere line debuted in the 1980s, based on the Santos watches, which hardly need any introduction. The case shape and integrated bracelet were borrowed from the Santos, but unlike its older brother, the Panthere was designed as a ladies’ watch. After over 40 years in Cartier’s catalog, we can confidently say it’s currently one of the most beautiful models dedicated to women, and this particular piece… well, see for yourself! The line’s classic case and bracelet are crafted from 18-karat gold, but what distinguishes this specific watch is its rising sun-like dial and the presence of diamonds on the watch case.
The watch comes complete with a Cartier case and service documentation from 1998.
Franck Muller is the self-proclaimed “Master of Complications” – and his self-confidence is so strong that this phrase is the brand’s main motto, appearing on the caseback of many watches sold by the manufacture. In some cases (especially in two or three-hand watches), this designation might seem somewhat excessive, but for this particular watch, it’s entirely appropriate. In a relatively small, classic Casablanca-style (and brand-typical) “tonneau” case, an annual calendar has been fitted, additionally featuring a pointer date – showing the date via a hand on the innermost ring, hidden behind the minute track. The whole design maintains an elegant black and white color scheme, with the brand’s characteristic hour indices adorning the dial.

A watch with a very interesting complication from the German manufacture Meistersinger (which literally translates from German as “master singer,” which can be humorously interpreted as a sign of great confidence in their watches). In the above image, only one hand is visible – and no, this doesn’t mean the hour hand is hidden behind the minute hand. The entire time display is accomplished using just one hand! The hand doesn’t complete a full rotation around the dial in an hour. So how do you read the time? Between each hour on the minute track are 10 indices, each representing a 5-minute interval. The slightly larger ones indicate 15-minute intervals, and the largest, central one shows that half an hour has passed. To illustrate more clearly: in the above image, the watch shows 9:35, and in the one below 9:45
The Singlehand complication is something decidedly original and rarely seen. It recently gained attention with Breguet’s newest model, which premiered for the manufacture’s 250th anniversary. More about this watch can be learned on the manufacturer’s website.

For the first few decades, Rolex was the definition of a “tool watch,” a utilitarian timepiece that, while looking interesting, was primarily meant to serve specific purposes: accurately measure time, be water-resistant to very high depths, withstand shocks… . And the Day-Date is simply meant to look excellent on the wrist. And it fulfills this duty perfectly! This particular piece is from ’86 and could be considered the quintessential representative of its line: 36mm case diameter made of yellow gold with a champagne dial, additionally in a rarer version, the so-called linen dial – with horizontal stripes that make it even more eye-catching. However, thanks to the mentioned classic dimensions, the watch maintains its elegance and will perform excellently in both less and more formal circumstances. After all, the “President” nickname comes with obligations!
