A classic Zenith chronograph, powered by the legendary El Primero movement, featuring an exceptionally striking bright green dial. The watch case is crafted from beautiful 18-karat rose gold and measures 42mm in diameter. Production was limited to 50 pieces worldwide, which, beyond its great visual appeal, makes it a coveted piece for any collector. As mentioned earlier, the watch is powered by Zenith’s opus magnum, the El Primero, here in the classic caliber 400B version, with a 50-hour power reserve and 5Hz frequency.
The watch comes complete with Zenith box and documentation dating it to the current year.
Also available in Wrzeciono Czasu’s collection is another limited edition of the El Primero chronograph from Zenith, featuring a dial in the highly sought-after Ice Blue color.
The flagship model representing the pride of German watchmaking in its largest version. The watch features all the characteristic elements of the Lange 1 line – an asymmetrical dial with hour and minute indication at 9 o’clock, small seconds at 5 o’clock, an elegant power reserve indicator between 1 and 3 o’clock, and the signature large date at 1 o’clock. All of this is housed in a large, nearly 42mm case made of rose gold. Thanks to its enlarged size, the watch is an excellent choice for those who appreciate Lange’s undeniable craftsmanship but, due to larger wrists or preference for bigger watches, have not decided on its purchase. When writing about Lange, it is difficult not to mention the movement, which, as expected, is finished to the absolute highest possible level.
The watch comes with the original Lange clasp made of rose gold and an A. LANGE & SÖHNE service case.
The Omega Speedmaster is probably the most famous chronograph in watchmaking history. Its original version is very conservative in design, featuring a black dial, three chronograph subdials, and a tachymeter scale on the bezel. Omega tries not to touch this sacred design, but occasionally allows itself to release various variations on the theme, where it can showcase additional, non-standard functions. Such a watch is the presented Chronoscope model, which had its premiere in 2021. This is a watch that enables measurement of… essentially everything we could want. In addition to the standard chronograph function and the tachymeter known from the original, which allows determining average speed over a distance of one kilometer or mile, the timepiece (this term fits exceptionally well here!) also features a telemeter scale for measuring distance based on sound, and a pulsometer scale for measuring pulse rate. The watch has a slightly larger size than the original – 43mm case diameter, and is fitted with the latest, very elegant Speedmaster bracelet with micro-adjustment. The watch is powered by a manual-wind movement with Co-Axial escapement.
The watch comes complete with box and documentation, and is under manufacturer’s warranty until 2028.
Staying with the chronograph theme, we have before us a very interesting proposal from Girard-Perregaux, crafted in rose gold and maintained in Art Deco styling. As the King Size name indicates, we are dealing with a large watch – its dimensions are 32 by 48 millimeters. The watch therefore has a definite presence on the wrist and will certainly attract attention. Moving to its functionality: in addition to the standard chronograph subdials and small seconds, a GMT function regulated by a pusher at 10 o’clock has been placed at 12 o’clock, making the watch suitable for travel as well. Through the transparent caseback, we can admire the beautifully decorated movement with a gold rotor.
The watch underwent service at an authorized Girard-Perregaux service center in June of this year and is under manufacturer’s warranty until June 2027. The watch comes complete with original box and manufacturer’s documentation.
Concluding today’s post, the described watch is another showcase of German watchmaking, also from a highly regarded manufacture that takes its name from the watchmaking capital of our western neighbors – Glashütte. The presented Senator model uses the day-date function in a very interesting way. The day of the month is displayed in the Big Date style characteristic of German watchmaking, and the day of the week is visible at 8 o’clock through a subdial. The greatest innovation is the week of the year indication at 12 o’clock. Here, the Big Date format is also used, this time in red font. To accurately illustrate the function – in the watch photograph, the fourth week of the year is indicated. This is a very rarely encountered complication, making the watch simply an interesting choice. Through the transparent caseback, the automatic movement is visible with the characteristic Glashütte Original rotor.
The watch is fitted with a new manufacturer’s alligator leather strap with original Glashütte butterfly clasp. The watch, like the Girard-Perregaux described moments ago, underwent service at an authorized Glashütte service center in June and is under manufacturer’s warranty until June 2027. The watch comes complete with service case, Glashütte authenticity certificate, and service document.
