Let’s be direct: when a three-hand Nautilus appears in our collection (complete set, no less), there’s simply no other way to start this post than by presenting it. Especially since, comparing prices on Chrono24, our piece is the most affordable IN THE WORLD for watches produced since 2013.
The Nautilus 5711 was launched in 2006 to mark the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus collection and was produced until 2021, soon after replaced by the model 5811 – produced in white gold. The Nautilus line was designed in the 1970s by the legendary Gerald Genta as Patek’s response to the Royal Oak from Audemars Piguet – which was also designed by Genta. The main inspiration for the unconventional case shape came from ship portholes (which also inspired Hublot watches). The design is completed by a beautiful integrated bracelet with characteristic polished center links. Through the transparent caseback, you can see the heart of the watch – the 324 S C movement with a gold rotor.

After starting with a high note, it’s time for a significantly more accessible option. This watch is Oris’s flagship model – the Propilot X line uses the best materials and movements in the manufacturer’s portfolio to create an end product that definitely deserves the luxury watch designation. This is also reflected in their retail prices – currently around 20,000 PLN. With us, you can get this 2024 watch, with Oris warranty until 2032, for under 10,000. 🙂
What exactly distinguishes the Propilot X line? The entire case along with the integrated bracelet is made of high-grade titanium, which, besides its interesting, slightly dark color, gives the watch incredible lightness – with all links it weighs about 100 grams. For comparison, the previously mentioned 5711 weighs about 140 grams – the Propilot X is almost imperceptible on the wrist for a watch with a bracelet. The eye-catching element is the watch dial, in a warm salmon shade, with a slightly textured surface. I mentioned the watch movement earlier – this also deserves attention. It’s a fully in-house Oris caliber with an impressive 120-hour power reserve. We can admire it through the transparent caseback.

One of the most interesting case designs from Cartier’s catalog, in a relatively rare and now discontinued version with a beautifully executed moonphase. The case is made of steel and measures 37mm in diameter, making it an excellent choice for both ladies and gentlemen – it could even serve as a couple’s watch! Besides the moonphase indicator, it’s a standard Ballon in the best sense: a slightly rounded case shape, guilloche dial, and characteristic crown with its protective “ear.” Due to the crown placement, the three o’clock index is slightly offset. Cartier’s designers ensured symmetry with a similar cutout at 9 o’clock, where the moonphase is located. The watch is powered by the manufacture caliber 080MC, used exclusively in this type of watch. It comes on an original Cartier strap with original deployant clasp.

Da Vinci is the line where the Schaffhausen manufacture allows itself the most experimentation and employs its most advanced complications. This case is no exception – the presented watch features IWC’s patented perpetual calendar system from the 1980s, adjustable solely through the crown, AND chronograph functions – we might even categorize it as a Grand Complications watch. Both these functions are housed in a watch with very reasonable dimensions of 39mm case diameter and about 14mm thickness. Remember – we’re talking about a perpetual calendar with chronograph! As we know, a watch must not only be an engineering masterpiece but also simply look good. And this Da Vinci excels in this duty as well. The watch has the line’s typical round case (though these watches also come in tonneau version) with very characteristic bracelet attachment. The bracelet itself deserves several separate sentences, as it was quite rare, especially in the gold version. It consists of seven links and gives the watch a very elegant character.
The watch comes complete with a very rich IWC box, full documentation, and date disc inserts, ensuring the calendar will be accurate even 100 years from now.
Villeret is the quintessence of Blancpain’s philosophy – a very classic design of an ultra-thin case referencing watchmaking tradition, making them, in this author’s opinion, one of the best “dress watches.” This particular specimen is exceptionally interesting – at first glance, attention is drawn to the dial in a truly excellent, rarely seen shade of navy blue. Then you notice the rather original approach to the Triple Date complication, with the day of the week and month in one line at 12 o’clock, and a pointer date indicator. The hour indices are made of small diamonds, which might seem controversial to many, but with this dial layout appears to be the best solution and is simply visually attractive. The case measures 34mm in diameter and less than 10mm in thickness, making it an excellent watch for both men and women.

Jacob & Co is a brand mainly associated with watches reaching astronomical prices, characterized by rather controversial design. However, in this case, we’re dealing with a watch featuring a very complicated mechanism while maintaining an interesting yet unobtrusive form. As per its name, the watch shows time in 5 time zones at once, and its production was limited to 1,800 pieces worldwide. The time in each zone is shown on a separate dial, adjusted using one of five crowns. The monotony of the grey-white-black color scheme is broken by deep red hands and red accents on the GMT dials, creating a really interesting and distinctive whole. Through the transparent caseback, you can see the interestingly decorated Jacob & Co. Cal 2 movement powering the watch.

The newest Sinn, limited to just 300 pieces worldwide, premiering in Wrzeciono Czasu’s distribution. This is a standard “diver” in Sinn’s execution, with 500-meter water resistance, and their typical crown placement at 4 o’clock. What makes it stand out most is the experimental use of Sinn’s patented Goldbronze material, an alloy of gold, bronze, and the unnamed titanium. The presence of each metal in the alloy is justified: bronze provides corrosion resistance and durability in marine conditions, gold limits environmental reactions and slows down patination, and titanium in the case back ensures full biocompatibility and wearing comfort. Beyond functionality, this alloy is simply beautiful: the presence of gold gives it a beautiful, orange-tinted gold color. The seconds hand is made of the same material, which looks very elegant against the dark blue dial. The whole is completed with a fabric strap with a titanium buckle.
The watch is new and comes from official Sinn distribution at Wrzeciono Czasu. All watches from Wrzeciono Czasu distribution are covered by an extended three-year manufacturer warranty.
A limited edition Radiomir with a very interesting “tropical” colored dial and non-standard dodecagonal bezel. The bezel is decorated with the inscription Officine Panerai – Brevettato, which loosely translates to “tested and reliable.” And this is probably the best summary of this watch, because ultimately we’re dealing with a slightly exotic but ultimately classic form of the Radiomir, the first watch produced by the Florentine manufacture. We find all the most important elements of the Radiomir – wire lugs, “true” 47mm case, and visible through the caseback, reliable and above all – very beautiful P 3000 movement with manual winding. However, due to the dial unseen in other models and the angular bezel, this is an interesting proposition for both experienced Paneristi and those just discovering the world of Panerai.
