MB&F Horological Machine No. 9 is a timepiece that transcends the boundaries of traditional watchmaking. Inspired by the aerodynamics of sports aircraft and automobiles from the 1940s and 1950s, it represents an extraordinary fusion of art, engineering, and visionary courage.
The sculptural, futuristic case resembles a miniature jet engine. Inside, a fully in-house manual-winding movement operates with two independent balance gear systems connected by a central differential—a solution rarely seen even in the most advanced haute horlogerie constructions. Every detail, from the precisely milled components to the bridge finishing, testifies to an obsessive attention to perfection.
The transparent caseback reveals the movement’s complex architecture, while the profiled sapphire crystals on the front allow you to admire the balance wheel motion in separate chambers.
